1D-LSD is a presumed prodrug to LSD and a modification of lysergic acid, which occurs naturally in the ergot fungus. It is assumed that 1D-LSD is converted to LSD by metabolism in the human body . It is a research chemical that is not intended for human consumption. It is not covered by the Narcotics Act (BtMG), the New Psychoactive Substances Act (NpSG) or the Medicines Act (AMG) and can be researched without permission from the BfArM . The effect of 1D-LSD is said to be very similar to that of LSD, but there is no reliable evidence yet .
